By using the HemiData hosted appliance, a medical practice gains the security and assurance of contemporary data management services, such as application management, redundant data storage, automatic offsite data migration and automatic archiving of all data. Your records are kept and managed in HemiData databases and managed on HemiData Servers. As you use the system, your practice is charged a nominal transactional fee for the use of the system. This solution is great for small practices who need an EMR but don't have the time or expertise to manage an enterprise system. This solution gets your small practice started quickly. In Office Appliance	The office appliance is a turnkey appliance that you install in your office and attach to your existing office network. After a short setup exercise, the appliance is used just like our application service. You maintain the system, perform your own backup and archiving. When HemiData makes updates available, you can apply the updates to gain access to new features of the HemiData system. Use of the system is governed by concurrent user license. HemiData Managed Appliance	The Hemidata Managed Appliance is a turnkey appliance that you own. HemiData installs the appliance in our data center and performs the management of the system for you. Your records are kept on a server owned by your practice. You access your appliance through the Internet. Your practice needs an Internet connection and at least one Windows XP system to get started. HemiData performs daily backups of the device and provides you with reliable remote access to your records. HemiData applies the maintenance and new software release updates in a coordinated manner with your practice. Use of the system is governed by concurrent user license.
