Sam Pendleton, Founder and CEO of Hemidata will present computer security training sessions at TEPR 2005 hosted by The Medical Records Institute this week in Salt Lake City.

Mr. Pendleton will present three healthcare security related sessions.

		A 3 hour tutorial on Healthcare IT Security, for medical professionals that will describe how to incorporate security measures into the infrastructure for their medical practices.
		An introductory course on Internet Security Basics.
		A course on layered network security designed to protect medical data transmissions.

Mr. Pendleton's background in computer architecture, distributed systems, web architecture and secure systems provide the background for the discussion. The session will center on techniques that provide the security necessary to manage patient records as healthcare moves into the electoronic era.

Mr. Pendleton will serve as the moderator for all security sessions at TEPR.
