Sam Pendleton, Founder and CEO of Hemidata will present a preconference computer security tutorial at the Health IT Trends and Marketing conference hosted by The Medical Records Institute this week in Boston.

The security session will provide vendors with real world integration scenarios and discussion of techniques that work and ways to avoid those that don't work.

Mr. Pendleton's background in computer architecture, distributed systems, web architecture and secure systems provide the background for the discussion. The session will center on techniques that provide the security necessary to manage patient records as healthcare moves into the electoronic era.
