HemiData appliance hosting services are designed for the practice that wants to own
their own appliance, for the security that it provides in knowing that their records
are housed on their own device. Practices that take this option purchase an appliance
and the appropriate physician licenses for their application, Then we place the
appliance in our data center and provide the practice with access to the appliance.
The hosted appliance runs a private application service for the practice. HemiData personnel
manage the appliance, backup the practice data on separate backup volumes and provide
routine maintenance.
Like all of our other offerings, the practice needs to have a computer, a web browser and
a broadband Internet connection.
Our application services behave exactly the same as the turnkey appliance systems. This
approach provides the practice with the same user interface for both products and allows
the practice to grow their system as their practice grows.
